Viridian represented Docked in successfully obtaining US Patent 12,428,114 for their innovative new pontoon docking system. After initially filing a provisional patent application in early 2025, Docked quickly perfected the design of their system and moved to the utility application phase, which Viridian helped to successfully prosecute in a short amount of time. Ultimately, Docked was able to move from an initial filing to an issued patent less than ten months.

The patent now provides them with a monopoly on their latest development in dual and tri-hull docking systems.

Viridian professionals Jeff Joyce and Brenna Crowley drafted and prosecuted the patent applications and advised on the overall intellectual property strategy.
