Job Title: Paralegal (Litigation)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented legal professional for a Paralegal – litigation
practice support position. The position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys
working hard individually and in collaboration with others, and is capable of simultaneously managing
both paralegal and administrative tasks at a high level. This position plays a critical role in providing
paralegal and administrative support for multiple attorneys, keeping cases organized, deadlines met, and
efficient practice workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests,
and correspondence;
• Manage case files, deadlines, court dates, and filings across multiple cases and multiple courts
and maintain document organization, and ensure accurate recordkeeping;
• File documents in state and federal courts (including e-filing);
• Assist with discovery, including document collection, review, and production;
• Assist with coordination of witnesses, exhibits, and other trial preparation;
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel;
• Schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings;
• Handle new client intake, including conflict checks and initial interviews;
• Provide backup assistance/coverage for other attorneys and staff when required;
• Conduct basic legal research as needed;
• Capture billable time efficiently;
• Provide general administrative support, including billing and calendar management.
Qualifications:
• Collegiate degree in a related field, or a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a paralegal,
legal assistant, or similar legal position;
• Litigation experience preferred, experience with Probate and Family law a plus;
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, writing and communication skills, and attention to
detail are essential;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines, work independently, and anticipate
attorney and matter needs and work flow required;
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously preferred;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) essential, familiarity with case
management and document management systems a plus;
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
