Mike Tadenev is the chair of Viridian’s Real Estate Group. Mike works with Mount Desert Island and mid-coast businesses and individuals in the areas of real estate law, asset preservation, estate planning, and general business matters.
Mike’s experience encompasses the following aspects of real estate representation:
- Acquisitions and dispositions
- Sale/leasebacks
- Financing
- Easements, rights of way, and boundary line disputes
- IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges
- Leasing for landlords and tenants
- Asset management
Prior to joining Viridian Mike was a shareholder at Eaton Peabody, spending nearly a decade practicing real estate, estate planning, and business law. Earlier in his career, Mike practiced as a litigation attorney in a broad range of civil matters that included significant experience in labor and employment law, including workers’ compensation law.
Mike is a native Russian speaker and maintains proficiency in reading and writing in Russian.
